DACA Renewals: 5 Things You Need to Know

  1. Plan ahead: Contact an attorney to prepare the application at least 150 days before your current DACA EAD card expires.
  2. You will need two passport-size photos
  3. You will have your biometrics taken at the local office again.
  4. You do not receive an automatic extension of your EAD or status upon filing.  You have to have your new EAD card in hand before your current one expires in order to keep working.
  5. Contact an attorney to get started!
